Unlike all other kids, I grew up watching cookery shows! While my friends played out in sand and sun making mud castles, I would spend all my time playing with flour and water making ‘Dough castles’ - These are one of the fondest memories of my childhood! Fast forward to my 14th Birthday - My parents gifted me an oven and my eyes twinkled in joy. I immediately whipped my first batch of confidence and put the batter in the newly gifted oven! I kept gazing at the oven like a child longing to visit Disneyland! In that moment, I knew it in my heart that I was meant to bake!

As the years rolled by, I continued baking, and was persistently encouraged by everyone to take up orders professionally. Aiming for big, I learnt plentiful things about baking, and made up mind to pursue my higher education in patisserie. But life had other plans for me, so I ended up completing my Bachelors in Home Science with Human Development. Surprisingly, after three years, all the pieces of the puzzle started to fall in place, and I flew to Bengaluru and completed Diplôme De Pâtisserie from the Lavonne Academy of Baking Science and Pastry Arts!

Everything seemed like a dream come true and I returned to Pune with a bag full of memories and lessons of baking! The batter of my hard-work and efforts turned into crisp golden brown success and I launched “CRUMBCOAT” on 14th August 2018. This is when my journey of becoming a self-made entrepreneur started, and I sure have miles to go! Today, I am a Pastry Chef and my baking is a Labor of Love!
